General Summary
Previously
In Promethea, the Company debated on how to proceed. The beam of light from Pyrouranos' arrow was rapidly fading. As they began deciding on who to bring to brave Vorakios' lair, thunder rocked the night sky above Promethea. Dark clouds appeared and swirled above the city. Purple lightning streaked across the dark sky. Wails of the dead emerged, followed by swarms of flying banshees and blighted fey. Zombies began raining down from above. Promeatheans screamed in the streets and ran for shelter while the Protean Guard, Argus' mythical army of contructs, activated and rose up to face the threat. Arina and Rishoi came through the Doors from Viriquia and Valenlet respectively. Arina told the other to get the the beam of light while she and Rishoi lead the defence in Promethea.
Aedre, Argus, Davona, Jupus, Orok, and Sky traveld to the Thunderhoof Refuge. They brought with them Asako, Gnawfang, Adriel, Maalek, and Bjorn. A re-awakened Iolanthe met them, and she told them that in her trance, the ancestors showed her Vorakios' attack on their city. As thanks for their aid, she will lead volunteers from among the Thunderhooves to aid in the defence of Promethea. After thanking her, the Company teleported towards the beam of light, but missjumped twice before successfully arriving. The beam shrank, and the Company flew down to the ground. The light shrank away into a crack in the mountainside. Vorakios' fog seeped along the ground floor out of it. The Company entered through the crack to find themselves in a large chamber with a pink portal at its far end from which the fog seeped out of. Pyrouranos' arrow of light was lodged within it. A short figure stood before it. It was the undead form of Théodore Duloup.
From behind the columns, the undead members of Duloup's Wolfpack emerged and attacked the Company. Battle ensued. The Evergreen Company were ultimately victorious, but with much regret after being forced to destroy their friends and allies. Only after the battle did they realize that the crack they came through had been sealed. Pyrouranos' arrow of light flickered out of existence. The fog started to rise. The Company passed through the portal to face the dangers beyond.
