General Summary
Previously
Needing new leaders to help achieve quorum for Prateria's ruling council, the Company offered to Aedrea and Orok to become full members of the Evergreen Company, and elevating them from provincial governership to a seat on the ruling council. The two freedom fighters had proven their abilities and character to the Company, and they themselves have found a new home and cause to fight for. Aedre and Orok readily accepted.
After teleporting to Orok's location, Argus, Aedre, Sky, Jupus, and Davona joined the urukhan in carefully navigating the slashing and battering gales of wind that surrounded Argentia's Lair. Maintaining stealth, the Company snuck up to the Lair's entrance where a black dragon stood guard. She had not noticed the Company's presence thanks to their careful approach and her preoccupation with feeding on the local wildlife. The Company struck quickly and deadly. The dragon's roars of pain were silenced quickly, both by magic, and by the fact the Company struck prefectly in her most vulnerable parts, ending her life before she was even aware that she was under attack.
After slaying the dragon, the Company entered the lair. Within was a gruesome sight. Argentia, the silver dragon, was dead, her corpse splayed across the lair's floor within a ritual circle. Her chest was ripped open, her heart gone, and her bones and flesh crafted into a pedestal atop the ripped cavity to hold the bow Pyrouranos. Whatever foul magic was involved here, it had degraded the relic. The bow was nearly dissolved, barely holding together.
After crafting a door with magic, the Company opened a Door of Destiny from the lair to Promethea so that their people can take care of the dragon corpses. Orok took the bow, and traveled via the Doors to the Thunderhoof refuge. There, Iolanthe, in a trance induced by her ancestors, took the bow from Orok, fired an arrow of light in the air, and Pyrouranos disintegrated. The arrow of light streaked across the lands, and landed amidst the mountains of the Greyfang Peaks. A beam of light broke the night sky. Suddenly, Vorakios' fog began retreating back to its origin. Its blighted fey fled back within it, while its zombies starting falling to the ground, truly dead.
