S1 Session VIII: In this House of Memories Report
General Summary
The group looks for identicfication on the bodies in the warehouse but are unsuccessful in finding any other than an old feeling brand on the mid-back of the barbarian individual. They head back to Kova's where Kosmos drinks some cooking wine that is actually a draft of cough syrup and is knocked out by the sleepy-effects rather quickly, but does talk to Verve about feeling like they didn't do enough. Verve gets them upstairs in the hallway before Kosmos is on the ground out for the count. Verve does grab a pillow and blanket for him. The next morning the group wakes and heads to the attic where they deposit the pearl memories of Enna and Quill into the memory machine. They discover two are pulled into the memories as observers. The first is Quills and it is of a gun with an intricate design made with technology in Hul-rai, but handed off to a figure who is blue with horns in a green cloak (recognized as the one with the kids in the teleportation circle in the warehouse). Caroline after the memory would be intimately familiar with the weapon if she is able to get her hands on it. Verve would be able to use it as well, just not quite as effectively. The second memory they choose is also Quill's and is his death memory which is a scattered array of flashes and feelings around him figthing and then losing the battle. The third is one of Enna's the memory is of her talking with her brother Ero, who is the Forest Clan leader, a drow druid, about the black (rot?) that is spreading in the forest and how she had been putting up some sort of protections around her city. The fourth is one with a shadowy form in Enna's mirror where she discusses not attending Kova's graduation from her school with needing to update her sigils. The fifth was Quill's. It is a flash of his life with a few tidbits of him contacting other leaders on other planets about the black stuff... and hearing no news. That is good . . . right? The final memory they view is Enna's death memory where they see the black ichor take shape and kill her. They decide to forego the festivities of the festival of Lyte, and go to odds and ends, where they meet the blue horned tiefling they saw in the warehouse the previous night who is introduced as Geea. and they watch as Geea's form blurs and shifts to one with no pigment, before shifting to an elven woman, and she leads them through a tunnel. Upon exiting, they see the kids from the previous night, and they begin the trek across the desert, making good time, and not being followed . . . that they are aware of. They make camp, don't have any disruptions in the night and the following day arrive at a clearing where a group of glouraki are found. Kosmos rides with Geea, the others each piloting one of their own, and have either two kiddos or equipment. The ride is fairly smooth sailing, and they arrive at the end of the second day of travel in what Geea introduces as The Busk.
