Session 13: Opposing scales Report
General Summary
Master, Unfortunatly I write to you with bad tidings. Our plans were spoiled and our presence in the city may have been revealed. As you predicted, the Fenhunter is seeking aid from the Knightly Circles in Keralon. Her draconic army arrived midday and made camp outside the walls. As you instructed we intended to either convince the knights to attack pre-emptivly or fabricate some misunderstanding that would instigate a battle. To prevent others from acting we used our connections in the city to keep all the gates closed. Before we could act a group of aspiring knights stole a ferry and made it out of out quarantine. They approached the army and made diplomatic contact. They even managed to convince them to send a representative with them back to the city. We are thankful for your presience and the draconic construct you left with us. We sent it out to deal with these knights to be and even raised some of the pseudodragons we have been experimenting with, creating skeletal versions. Unfortunatly, they were defeated and the delegation made it safely to the city. We then had no choice but to send some of our agents within the guards to deal with the problem. Sergeant Kellis and 4 of his most trusted men redirected the guards from a barracks house and ambushed the delegation within, while they waited to be escorted to the king. He even managed to trick 4 other guards to join the fight. Still, the young heroes prevailed and defeated them. The draconic emmissary survived and was able to speak to the council of nobles. They agreed to discuss terms for a more permanent peace and there was even some talk of lending the might of the Circles to the Fenhunter should she need them. What may be even worse is that the sergeant and some of his men were captured alive and questioned. I am unsure how much they have revealed. I am aware that they are privy to only the most basic information, but I fear for others of our organization in Keralon. We have need of your wisdom and guidance, master. Please send us one of you acolytes to lead us in these trying times. I anxiously await your reply. B.
