Session 26: A Journey of a Minute Report
General Summary
Olin, Ospreay and Arden bed down for the night. Olin and Ospreay are taken against their will, and are brought to a small room in an unfamiliar place where they share the space with a small white goblin, who says to call them "Sire" (they/them) after getting a chamber pot thrown at the wall behind them. In looking out the small vent in this room, Olin saw a vast sea and a lone yellow full moon rising above the waters. They escape with Sire and the help of a priest of the Order of the 5 Sacraments, to go hunt down an item before the Legion of Dusk finds it. Going down the slick desposal shaft they are in the ocean, swim to shore, and find a raptor -- named Sharkbait waiting for them. Sire gets onto Sharkbait after they unbury their items on the beach (Olin lost a giant pinky bone, and Ospreay a handful of rootwater berries). They make their way towards the Fields of Ruin, and past the two forts, into the Primal Wellspring. The come across a statue of Chimil, a dragon/birdlike depiction, and Olin asks Sire some questions about Chimil, and learns a little about Alcazotz as well. They come across an insane priest named Marven who (unknown to them is under a spell) leads them into the Temple of Alcazotz where the Guardians and the demon Zotz have taken up residents. With Sire's help they manage to get the item: The Heirophants Chalice, and slaughter all the creatures in the temple adding to the blood inside it. They return to Fort Durron, where they hand the Chalice over to Alante, the priest who helped them escape the prison, and Alante offers to get them back home. Sire says in trusting them enough now, that their true name is Traaz, and gifts Olin with the giant pinky they stole, and the Gale Pail. Using some of their magic, Alante returns Olin and Ospreay back to the campsite they were taken from.
Rewards Granted
Each member got 100 gold pieces, and an immediate need met. For Olin and Ospreay this was passage home.
