Session 37: From Afar, Now Up Close Report

General Summary

We continued with fighting a hydra, and some baslilisks (one kid and one adult). While the party helped to distract the monsters, Robin and (unbeknownst to them) 3 goblins dove down into the water to go trssy and rescue the petrified prizes of the basilisks. Flick almost got turned to stone. Pipus was not petrified, but woke to themself at the bottom of the pool in the cave--left for dead?? They managed to rescue 6 of the people who were not just crumbled stone. The goblins then chopped up the basilisks and went to go sell it with a lot of the Cobalt Soul members that they helped rescue. The party follows Robin to The Quilted Cavern and inside they met Quila, the elderly proprieter who only speaks broken common. They discovered that Freya's symbol burned into her skin harming her, and learned that 2 weeks prior a ship came and traded wares with that symbol, and those who handled the items were not long for the world. Ospreay got a new symbol of a deity. Flick got paper and ink for a spell, Guen got some potion components, Pipus helped buy the ink and paper, and Olin got something (though I forget what). Robin picked up an order of goods. The group then went to a little inn, called "Nook" and they got one room that is not super comfy for all the people, with no furniture in it. Robin went to take care of her personal business here. Flick managed to contact a scion of Bahamut and got 5 answers. Afterwards, he contacted his patron, and got a name, as well as some answers. He also got a time limit of 4 months for finding the items on his list. Flick then ended the session by casting Legend Lore on the symbol Ospreay got, and learned a little about the Twin Gods, specifically about Omiyasu. We ended with the end of Legend Lore.

Rewards Granted

Guen found an alchemists belt. Ospreay found a few magic sword options to buy, and got gold. Pipus recovered their weapons. The group collectively got ~27 gp/person, and had ~750ish gp in gem form.
