Session 40: Escape

General Summary

Olin was knocked unconcious, then a Circlet of Influence was placed on his head by a purple golbin, and the other purple goblin healed him, bringing him back up to be in the mix. Olin saw people on rocks in his vision, and two of note were a firbolg tending to flowers, and a dark dryadic fae. Guen hits Olin, and brings him back to himself as the others finish off the purple goblins. Flick fires his lamp at the Desolate Grim, and manages to kill it. However, near the end of the fight, the caverns started to shake, and the caverns began to collapse. The group ran and with a few falls and somewhat close calls they emerged back in the Elders Post.
  They locate Dyfse, and return his goods, gaining 5,000 gp. They then went shopping and upgraded some of their gear. Not wishing to spend the night in the Elders Post, they head back to the Spire By Fire Inn, and get a room for the night. They have a much desired long rest.
  In the morning, they contact Jade to see if she knows of anyone who can get them to the Faewild, intending to go there, then go through it to get to Wildemount to the location they are thinking they are being pulled towards. Jade introduces them to a firbolg professor at Dayal Hall named Professor Wyser. He planeshifts them to a tree near the cliffs of Inkagsmere and they enter the Faewild.
  This portion is between 3 courts/ruling factions, and the sky never fully darkens. The ink of the sea dyes the white marble cliffs, and the trees have weird growth patterns. The group met some Leaflings, and Fadybugs, and spent the night in the Tiny hut before heading to the Verdent Glen the next day, making a short pit stop at the Tar Pits on the way.
  They met Finbar's mother Asteria, Maisie, Ettrian, Dove, Tail, and Omega. They started on their way to Flick's parent's new house when we ended the session.
