Session 9: Will it end with Murder? Report

General Summary

On a high from a successful second day of the political games, Flick, Olin, and Johannes head back to the inn to sleep. Guen and Pipus trail behind with Parsley, and Pipus clocks a figure up on a building seemingly watching them. As they approach a fight breaks out, and two thugs who work under someone Guen knows from her time with the Myriad appear, and attempt to get Guen and leave. Guen goes down, and Pipus kills the caster. The others arrive, Olin managing to heal Guen and get her back to conciousness. Flick goes on a hunt for the rogue who managed to get away initially. After a bit, he sees a figure running away and kills the rouge-ish assailant, then retrieves the daggar on them, and the body turns to dust. Pipus managed to recover the sending stone this same individual had on them. Upon returning to the room, it is covered that Guen is on the run after doing some robin-hood-y type of things, and Pipus was originally hired to take her in, but was convinced otherwise.   The following day, the group splits, and Guen and Olin go to a potions shop, and Guen gets ingredients for a few potions and bottles. The Potion Shop is named "No. 9" and was run by a black dragonborn with golden spectacles.   Flick and Pipus head to the challenge early, and Flick gets in Bragga's head as well as tries to distract. Somethings happened when he used Riely's name. The challenge then starts and Ushru is winning by a bit, and Pipus decides to go stab Bragga. Which Ushru tried to help, but Bragga attacked him, which encouraged more chaos. Pyriel arrives, and Olin delivers her the evidence of her late husband's murder, (the one who was the head of the city) and she goes to ask Ushru what he knew, and his face betrays him, and she kills him with a word. Over the next little bit with a 76% yes, (no one present dared vote no) Pyriel was voted to be the head of the city, assuming Ushru's role as the city elder.   We will pick up with the group with Riely and what their plans are to get payment from Pyriel in session 10 and continue the crazy adventures.     A side note: Johannes was pulled away from the event to meet with some old diving friends about a rumor he has been hunting for a while, which is why he was not present at the events of the day.
