Iarno Albrek
A short, dark-bearded human wizard that known to most as "Glasstaff" for magic staff made of glass. Iarno was initially a member of the Lords' Alliance, who was sent to the town of Phandalin to establish constabulary (as the town did not have a powerful authority). However, when he arrived in Phandaling he organized a group of thugs known as the "Redbrand," and as it turned out, was in alliance with the Black Spider.

Session 1: Arrows and Goblin Stew (Almost)

The motley party is ambushed by goblins on its way from Neverwinter to Phandlain while escorting Gundren Rockseeker's supplies. Defeating the goblins, "Lord" Ragroth makes everyone uncomfortable by suggesting they make goblin stew for dinner. The party continues to Cragmaw Hideout, picking up Calder tar Sar-Gath who is also hunting goblins. Together, they defeat most of the goblins and rescue Silvar Hallwinter. The session ends with Ragroth wandering away on his own and taking an arrow to the back.
