Chaos in the Streets
Just as things were about to escalate, Caius insisted to Bostwick to get his associates to Otsukai, as the Artisans have been scheming again. Umbrus will inform the party further once they get to the Province of Suldrani in the south.
The party rumbled as best as they could in the streets. Even John tried to throw the last of the bombs at the remaining Artisan Primarchs within their private room to the outcome of him being exposed and now on the run.
Cassius kept running as best as he could but got knocked out after a stabbing his radiant sword into the steam pipes of an Infernal artillery. He then recoiled, falling unconcious after hitting the ground hard.
Bostwick plowed through the onslaught of Ashen Creed zealots, a Horned Watch, and even saved Cassius and Gloria from a cluster of the Infernal-infused blethers.
Umbrus in Suldrani
Once the party regrouped and head southward, they met up with Umbrus, the Imperator's blether spymaster. He explained that the Artisans are plotting to have Cordero invade Otsukai. They are seen as a valuable target as they have the resources and skills to craft blades of refined radiance. They are also the last vestige of Nastirn Era culture, which means being supported by the positive planes of Dictation, Elvarid, and Haven. Wiping them out would also mean removing a likely wellspring of Positive affinity.
With that, the party sets out to Otsukai and to at least warn the Empress of what is to come.
