Session 54: Below the Gold Report

General Summary

The session began with the party searching the sewers beneath the Rhunmeth Quarter in Niduin, trying to find an entrance into the inner city.   First, they sent an Arcane Eye north through a tight opening in the wall, which led to another part of the sewers, where some people seemed to have set up a fighting ring there. The party decided to focus on secrecy, so instead of heading north, they went south, through another opening to another part of the sewer again. They went through a dump, where several constructs attacked them, including Flesh Golems and a single Demonflesh Golem. The party handled the fight easily, though it did take some time. Questions appeared regarding the origins of the constructs and who put them there, but no concrete answer was found.   They followed this path south for another while before finding a staircase leading back up. Following it, they found themselves in a storageroom to a tavern. Nitt managed to sneak out and unlock the back-door to get outside and helped the rest outside. There, they found the city was largely different compared to what they had seen earlier in the Rhunmeth Quarter. They circled around and entered the tavern, known as The Spider's Sting, rented some rooms, got something to eat, then headed to bed. Just before however, Takemura Yoshiro, sent his hawk familiar, Aska, to scout the area and found that they were in a district surrounded by walls on all sides, and a ceiling about 100-120 feet from the ground.
