Introduction: Welcome to Truce

From humble beginnings, a handful of destinies intersect. From the outskirts town of Prologue Point to the Slopes of Mount St. Alyssia itself, a new generation gathers, seeking to join one of the new Adventuring Companies that have been sanctioned after twenty years of the profession being outlawed.   Some come seeking fame, others fortune. Some seek to build upon their own power and security, while others desire to gain the respect and pride lost in ages past. Others are just looking for work and this sounds like it might pay more than a 'real' job or joining a milita to stand around gates or guarding grain and hay.
