Anatomy
The Standard by which all other species are judged. Humans are the baseline species of Realm.
Genetics and Reproduction
Humans mate in pairs (Male and Female) with the female carrying the offspring for an estimated nine months before giving live birth typically to a single infant, although twins and triplets can occur rarely, they often put the mother at elevated risk. Due to their place as a 'parent' race of the world, many who call themselves 'human' may have a heritage that include non-humans and might have traits from those ancestors, including the half-elf and half dwarf. However it does not include magically disparate species that branched off of humanity, such as Halflings, Tieflings, and Dovahkiin.
Growth Rate & Stages
Humans move from infant to adult in roughly sixteen years, although some with a heritage may advance a bit quicker or more slowly, but typically, sixteen is the legal age of consent, burden and inheritance.
Ecology and Habitats
Humans live in just about any environment on Realm, and are able to adapt to any but the most hostile regions of the Continent of Remnant.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Omnivorous with a tendency towards grains and meats. Humans have a craving for sugars and calories as well, although in modern realm this can lead to health issues over time.

Civilization and Culture
Naming Traditions
Humans tend to place given names followed by family names. With Titles or 'Earned Names' either in the middle or at the end depending on the situation.
It is typical for children who are unclaimed, orphaned, or who did not know their parents to take on the town they were raised in, such as Geralt of Rivia, a famous human Monster Hunter believed to be the son of a knight and a simple barmaid who died in child birth.
Beauty Ideals
ideals vary greatly between regions, but generally fitness and intelligence are draws for males, while males look to a female's grooming, bust size, and hips which are usually determining of capacity for child bearing.
Humans are also often drawn to the exotic traits of other species, although these preferences are often colored by their upbringing, for instance, a human female raised in settlement with a high dwarf population will likely be drawn to beards and broad features, while males raised in an area where elf-kiin are common may prefer leaner figures and smaller breasts.
Gender Ideals
In the Modern Imperium, Male and Female humans tend to have few defined gender roles. It is generally accepted that men are more prone to soldering and martial prowess, but these things are hardly exclusive to them.
Common Etiquette Rules
Etiquette in humans varies wildly from region to region, often adapting to whatever the dominant cultural setting of an area.
Common Dress Code
It is generally accepted in Imperium society for both genders to publicly cover their loins and females also cover their breasts, as having either on display is usually considered an invitation for intimacy.
Common Taboos
Along with adopted cultural sensitivities, Chief among human taboos is incest. The concept of bedding or procreating with family members is considered repugnant and usually the public airing of such a thing leads to societal condemnation. Also, while inter-racial coupling is common, it is reliant in most societies that the partner be sapient at the very least. While the wider margin of difference may bring ridicule, the concept of bestiality or mating with non-sapient creatures is considered not only denounced, but considered incredibly dangerous as such passions are often seen as an invitation to Lamashtu, who can actually enable such a union to bear unholy fruit.
History
Humans have existed since the First Age and were a Primaris Species, along with Dwarves and Dragons, created directly by the Gods to Populate Realm. A completely 'pure-blooded' human line is exceedingly rare as the species is not only extremely prolific, but drawn to others outside their species due to exotic traits, along with being compatible with most of them due to their primaris status.
Humans have ruled empires, been enslaved, and had a role in all but the most xenophobic of nations in the Four Ages of Realm, although accounts before the third age are scattered and rare. It is generally accepted that Humans were created as a baseline species at the beginning of Realm, and from them a majority of other species have been cultivated.
