Zolian
Zolian was a rather short elf, ridiculed for his height as an elf. While elves usually are slim and tall, he was the opposite, stubby and chubby for the race's standards.
He was not popular among his peers, though he never aspired to be, always preferred the accompaniment of books and creepy shrines.
One time during his walks through the elven cemetery, he found a skull, which is extremely unusual, as elves are buried in a cocoons hanging from the grave tree.
The skull, while mostly ghost-white had tints of purple around the eye sockets and tusks. It definitely was not elven skull, so he decided to keep it and find out more about it.
He decided to hide it from everyone, not that someone would care enough for him to check if he is not doing anything dangerous.
Unbeknownst to elders, he snuck into the Great Library, and stolen the Necroopus, which holds the world-threatening and forbidden knowledge of the Old Gods.
While having the tome and the skull his appearance changed significantly. He became slender, standing now 217 cm, which is extra-ordinary, his face features became more feminine and soft.
He proceeded to leave the confines of his city and resided in the ruins of Pordest, old human capitol, which was long abandoned when the lands were split between nations.
He was drawn to the mausoleum deep beneath the debris, where he found and rose from the dead his minions, legendary kings and warriors.
Expelled by his people, sitting on the throne of bones and rubble, Zolian commands his legion.
