Mineralmill
The dwarven stereotype is that they live deep inside the mountains and hate interacting with anyone, especially Elves.
There is definitely the deep-rooted hatred within mountain dwarven societies.
However, what if I told you there are dwarves that not only do not hate Elves, but actually love to interact with them.
You would call me a liar, deceiver and charlatan, that is fair, but let me explain. Have you ever heard of golden dwarves? The kind usually associated with hill dwarves, but friendlier and living in southern regions.
Now imagine, golden dwarves, but dressed in plum silks and trading minerals, you can call them Quartz Dwarves.
Those dwarves split from their mountain-dwelling ancestors and travelled south, they found a place that was rich with almost transparent violet crystals and fascinated by them decided to build their encampment.
Nowadays it is called Mineralmill, the place where everyone will be welcomed by the dwarves trying so hard to change their race's reception around the world.
The place is littered with incredible and intricate creations from quartz, 2 meters tall figures guarding entrances to the city made completely out of mentioned mineral, lamp posts illuminating cobblestone streets with mauve shade while everyone comes happily back home after drinking orchid beer from even prettier tankards.
The hospitality in here reaches enormous levels, it even resulted in coining the saying "quartz hospitality" as the heartfelt welcome you can get.
One can find the Elves from Maplelot and Riverbluff in here having a drink with their dwarven associates, allies? No, friends, and they are not afraid to say it out loud!
The place is surreal and obviously does not match how the dwarves are perceived by the world, but hopefully that will change someday.
