Diore
Have you heard of a satyr that can outdrink anyone in a tavern and still stand?
Have you listened to any of his mesmerizing melodies that the greatest bards sing about?
The Satyrs are associated with a male sexual drive and they were depicted as a strong-built human upper body and animal bottom half.
They were fond of singing, dancing and feasting, so it is not a surprise that they were most commonly encountered in the taverns.
You know who also likes to sit in the taverns and drink mead? Dwarves! And who of them tops the legendary Kalgard.
So the legend is born when you pair unbeatable Kalgard and apparently second to none in drinking Satyr.
They have met during one fortunate night in the tavern in Truskip.
Kalgard arrived with a delivery of the famous dwarven ale that was later celebrated with "some" of the giant wallop.
When the dusk came, all residents of Truskip gathered in the tavern and celebrated with Kalgard and his travel buddies.
Everything was quite usual, not very surprising amount of drinking, some dancing and definitely singing old tunes.
Mood changed when this big humanoid entered the tavern with 3 dryads as a company.
The dryads were beautiful, flowery and it is said that smelled like a forest after heavy rain.
Singing was silent for a moment, Diore went directly to the barkeep while eyeing Kalgard sitting at his table.
Offered to pay for a round of drinks for all of the guests, moved his fingers and the singing resumed.
Whole tavern loudly drank whole night, they drank everything there was in the pantry, but the tankards were never empty.
Kalgard was the last one sitting from the initial tavern squad, Diore was sitting beside him and with his arm over Kalgard's shoulders was telling him about Feyrealm.
Last thing that Kalgard remembered was that his drink buddy was finishing his drink and leaving the tavern with his 3 dryads.
Every time now that someone talks about Kalgard and his drinking prowess, there is always another one reminding about Diore.
Kalgard still looks for a chance to redeem himself, but all of the rumours about a Satyr happen to be false.
One day Kalgard, one day.
