Icewind Dale Session 6 Recap

Start: 19 Firstfrost 906 SA End: ?   From Wort's Journal   Welp, this place just keeps getting weirder. We were looking for this crazy magic moose for hours it seemed when we finally picked up on some moose tracks. Turns out it was just a plain moose, not a magic one. And it was dead. Eaten by a bear. You wanna know how I knew that? We talked to a bloody fox eating a rabbit. I mean everything talks out here (well, in this case it was just Zel doing his weird telepathic thing)!!!   So, we kept on searching for the magic moose, but it seemed like no matter which way we went, we were just walking around in circles. More information coming on this in a sec. After a few more hours of chasing our tails, we found some more moose tracks and it let us to this weird dome looking thing. We were sitting around trying to figure out what to do with it when a facking critter named Styggy popped out of the dome claiming to be with Val. Everyone seemed a little apprehensive at first but I kinda like the little buggah.   Inside this magic dome, we found some kind of Eladrin burial temple. It had this huge moon dial and a sarcophagus with a mummy inside. And guess what, it facking talked to us too. Dead as a doornail but he’s facking talking! Where have you sent me to Moradin!?   Well, as it turns out, Sahnar, our new mummy friend, let us know that we might be in a “soft spot” between our world and the bloody fey wild. That’s why it felt like we were running around in circles earlier. But we also have absolutely no clue how long we have been here in the fey wild because of a weird time dilation.   With Sahnar’s help we were able to access the temple where we found our TALKING magic moose. It was guarding this woman named Ravisin who was having a sticky beak inside her twin sister’s burial site. So, we gutted the moose like we were supposed to and decided to take a closer look at who the moose was guarding. That didn’t go very well. I mean It went well for us at first because we killed her, but then something left her body and went into this blue light that was shining into the temple. While we were resting inside the temple this light started to get really bright, so we figured we better head out of there. That’s when we saw this shela outside who looks like Ravisin’s dead sister. And yea she’s talking too. But she sounds like Ravisin and someone else.   I’m just ready to get the hell outta this place so we can go find this flying ship Zel was talking about. It would be real nice if we didn’t have this bloody beacon following us around. I wonder what kind of madness is going to await us there. Its definitely not aliens though. I never heard anyone say anything about aliens.
