Icewind Dale Session 11-12 Recap
General Summary
25th of Midfrost, 906 SA

We arrived in Caer-Konig and were abruptly "greeted" by a drunk named Trovis. Turns out he;s the speaker... So, this place is in great hands... Wort knew him... Makes sense. Trovis began to tell us all about these robberies that have been happening in town and we offered to help. Originally, he offered us 100g each to help solve the case, but after I drank him under the table, he offered us 200g per person. Yay, for not getting drunk... I miss getting drunk..
Anyways, after getting Trovis home and sobering him up, he told us more about what had gone missing. We decided to check in with a local expeditions outfitter first. He had some jewelry go missing. Oh, everything to have gone missing seems to have chardelin in it. Other than that, the guy was little more than completely unhelpful. So we carried on to the Northern Light Inn where a lantern had gone missing. Apparently, the thieves returned the night before. After making more talking happen, the group decided to follow the tracks left by the thieves.
So we left. in pursuit of the dreaded chandelier thieves...
We followed the tracks thanks to some pretty good tracking by the party and found ourselves staring down some crudely built wood fortress. WE decided to storm the castle.
We fought some dwaygar and a fucking undead ogre. One of the assholes came out and was identified as a Sunblight brother. We killed the fuck out of him and most everyone else... Val went down. I got hurt some. The others took a few crossbow bolts, but overall, I give them a competent report. We left one of the assholes alive.
We found a letter confirming that we indeed killed one of the sunblight brothers and that another was working out of Easthaven. Something tells me the runt is going to want to go after him. We'll see if the bosses agree. Oh, we also found a bunch of shit, which Baldric put in that magic bag of his. Something tells me he's going to take more money from some poor soul for that stuff.
