The Forgotten
Warlock Subclass
Some who swear themselves to revenge at any cost enter into a covenant with Iz the Forgotten, god of vengeance. In return for service as an agent furthering Iz's schemes upon the mortal plane, the vengeance seeker is empowered with mystical abilities to aid them in turn. The Forgotten patron for warlocks is as follows.

Vengeance Covenant
The fell and binding bargain between you and your patron is symmetrical and reciprocal; for your efforts furthering the Forgotten's vengeance upon the world which has wronged him, he will in turn help you enact your own plans to acheive vengeance upon those who have wronged you.
Starting at 1st level, you may mark a target by swearing a vengeance convenant with your patron, naming your target, how they have wronged you, and the nature of the revenge you wish to take upon them. Your revenge does not have to be to the death, it could be to the suffering, or some specific outcome such as taking back something that you believe they took from you, and so on. Work with your DM to select or create a suitable target for your vengeance covenant which will enrich your campaign rather than disrupt it.
The covenant lasts until you have successfully taken your revenge upon the marked target, and you may not use this ability again to declare a new convenant of vengeance until either you have taken your revenge or the marked target dies by other means.
Vengeful Strike
When it is your time to strike at the target of your vengeance, the Forgotten will surely guide your hand. Starting at 1st level, when you hit with an attack made against the marked target of your vengeance covenant, you may treat it as a critical hit. You may use this ability once per proficiency bonus per short or long rest.
Hidden Agenda
The Forgotten knows well the importance of secrecy in the pursuit of vengeance, and offers protection to keep your thoughts, intent, and location cloaked. Starting at 1st level, your thoughts cannot be read by telepathy or other means unless you allow it.
Additionally, each day when you awake you decide what your alignment will be detected as that day; you may change it to a different alignment after a short rest.
Starting at 6th level, you also cannot be targeted by any divination magic or perceived through magical scrying sensors.
Starting at 14th level, you can extend your protection against divination and scrying magics to cover a 30-foot cube originating from you at will, but it requires your concentration to maintain.
From Beyond The Grave
The Forgotten does not wish to see you denied your vengeance and may give you another chance at it should you suffer an ill fate. Starting at 1st level, if you are killed while the marked target of your vengeance covenant still lives, you may make a percentile check to cheat death. Your chance of success for this check is 5% per class level; for instance if you are killed at 3rd level you have a 15% chance of success but if you are killed at 14th level you have a 70% chance of success.
On a successful check, you will eventually return to the living to seek your vengeance. Within 1d12 weeks of your death, if the marked target still lives you will reawaken somewhere in the same region of the world where your marked target currently resides. You are refreshed as if you have completed a long rest, are clothed in your usual type of attire, and have the equipment you were laid to rest with (if any).
You will remember everything up to the moment of your death, but will have only a hazy sense of how much time has passed and no idea how you came to be where you are now. Additionally, you will know the direction and the approximate distance towards the target of your vengeance covenant for 1d4 weeks after your return to life.
Pact Boon
At 3rd level, when you gain the Pact Boon feature you may select from Pacts that lack prerequisites such as the Pact of the Blade or the Pact of the Talisman. You may also choose any other Pact for which you meet the prerequisites, such as the exclusive Pact of the Vengeful which expands the utility of your Vengeance Covenant feature, or the deceptive Pact of the Perfidious which can help you lie and cheat your way to your revenge.
Forgotten Presence
Starting at 6th level, the Forgotten bestows upon you the ability to fog the minds of others. As a bonus action, you can cause each creature in a 10-foot cube originating from you to make an Intelligence saving throw against a DC equal to 12 plus half your warlock level (rounded down). At 10th level the range of this ability increases to become a 20-foot cube, and at 14th level the range increases to a 30-foot cube.
Creatures that fail their saving throw will forget your identity, only able to recall an extremely vague physical description and no identifying details or facts. You have until the end of your next turn to remove yourself from the vicinity of the affected creatures before they start making new memories of you. Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a short or long rest.
