A conference between Sellfur & Nastrolog in the city of terronia discussing a partnership eventually forging a pact with the noble house for a group of kobolds.

In the meeting hall of the Ashido Palace Sellfur managed to get an audience with Nastrolog.   Nastrolog: So your the new legendary paladin I've been hearing about what is the reason for you coming her of all places?   Sellfur: Well I'm trying to build a utopia and a great way to show inclusion would be to have alot of Kobolds dwelling in my woodlands.   Nastrolog: So you want Kobolds to essentially virtue signal?   Sellfur: No not at all virtue signaling implies I'm using them simply for gain and don't care for their plight. I want them to yes make me seem inclusive because I actually am and that needs to be shown to my eventual subjects.   Nastrolog: So you care for the plight of the Kobolds in this world?   Sellfur: Yes I do. I hope that the kobolds don't become the next goblins and under my rule they'd be immortal, ageless, and aid in the construction and society of this utopia.   Nastrolog: It may take a while to build a utopia like your describing.   Sellfur: Time is no issue for me, you or any one who dwells in my woodlands. I came to you because I heard of your deeds and power, no dragon is bound to a side of morality because of their birth thanks to you you, you built a draconic utopia and deal with dragons who refuse the side of good. I want to make a utopia larger than that one that includes all you've heard of my feats do you not trust me?   Nastrolog: To be honest with you Sellfur I do trust you and I know your intentions are good but just because kobolds are genetically breed to listen to dragons doesn't mean I'm willing to make them follow you.   Sellfur: Fine what do I have to do to make them want me?   Nastrolog: Poor choice of words Sellfur anyway simply show yourself to be worthy of their servitude, loyalty, and adoration.   Sellfur: So how do I do that best their champion in combat, do some spirit quest, hug a kobold?   Nastrolog: No none of that you and I are going to conduct the ritual of the dragon's heart the main ritual that allows dragons to command kobolds and the one that will mark you as someone worthy of a kobold's aid.   Sellfur: Oh ok when and where do we do this in front of a crowd of kobolds and you cut me in some ceremonial way.   Nastrolog: Your half right come now I'll have my brother scrubby make preparations for the ceremony.   1 week after the conference a crowd of kobolds of varying colors gather in the main square of Terronia with Nastrolog, Sellfur, & Scrubby in the middle. Nastrolog shifts into his dragon form towering over everyone as a 50ft. tall lizard with black scales with bright orange light peering from the edges like lava under his hide.   Nastrolog: My people today we brand the hero of gale with the mark of the dragon's heart as he has plans for a utopian society that he wishes to include us in. Now Sellfur place your hand on my chest and we can begin the ritual.   Sellfur places his right hand on Nastrolog's chest, steam peering from his palm as he touches his hot scales. Sellfur's green spirit flares, Nastrolog's acid spirit flares and large surge of green energy rises in a large 100ft. tall column reeking of acid, soot, & ash. This lasts for one minute, ending the pillar of essence in bright green sparks Sellfur emerging unfazed.   Nastrolog: Well that's all that needed to occur my people I present to you King Sellfur he now has the authority to command our people.   The people clap and cheer shrieking in draconic in the name of the newest commander of dragons. Sellfur gathers 10,000 kobolds from Terronia to come with him back to Gardenia.
