Orichalium

Orichalium is a special alloy invented by the Eidolons during the Old Times sparking their golden age. Bearing a copper hue it's one of the hardest metals known to mortals, its conductivity being the highest of all metals. Orichalium became the main metal used in the creation of other mechs of eidolon, making them some of their most popular mechs. Once the material was lost to time it was rediscovered by Nelio Olgrim who used it to make more unique mechs.

Orichalium is a hard metal bearing a metallic brown color similar to copper.

Physical & Chemical Properties

Orichalium is incredibly hard to break through blunt trauma although their atoms are very weak to chemical reactions. The weakness makes them highly conductive & weak to corrosion and being frozen and shattered.

Origin & Source

Orichalium was invented by Deadalus of Argus Prime through alloying empyrite with copper and silver to produce this metal.

History & Usage

Discovery

Orichalium was first invented by the eidolon Deadalus for his infrastructure. Thousands of years after the Great Calamity it was rediscovered by Nelio Olgrim.
