The Arconis Belt is an asteroid field surrounding the Arconis System made of not only asteroids but large deposits of Arcanium, the ruins of swarm vessels, as well as large deposits of ether. This asteroid belt serves as defense for the solar system as the ether as well as evocation asteroids cause massive blasts to anyone who enters
Geography
The Arconis Belt surrounds the entire Arconis System being condensed with asteroids of stone and ice. To the north of the Arconis Belt are many swarm ships destroyed, left in ruins after trying to go through it. The south of the asteroid field is a large collection of asteroids full of evocation magic ready to detonate when hostiles get too close. The east of the asteroid belt is a safe passage way of entry and exit but only to those who dwell in the system being washed in the light of the arconis system.
Natural Resources
The asteroid belt has large deposits of Arcanium coming from the arconis spitting out it's matter over the years. The field is filled with magical essence making arcane detection difficult.
History
The Arconis Belt has been around since the Arconis made its way to the edge of the galaxy it's magic forming the asteroid belt. The asteroid belt has been the first line of defense for the solar system for thousands of years through the magic imbued in the asteroid the swarm and other alien forces couldn't infiltrate the solar system often being destroyed by evocation asteroids completely obliterated by elemental energy. The magic of the asteroid belt became much more limited after the Arconis became crippled. The asteroid belt still stands though other attempts are made to restore the field of death.
Tourism
Those who entered the asteroid belt came looking to conquer the planets like the swarm but were simply destroyed by the elemental energy within the asteroid field. No one dares enter the asteroid field for fear of being destroyed.
