The 10 Hells

Hell is split into ten circles on top of each other connected via the river styx. The 1st. circle of hell Krownyion is the most popular circle where the crown devils who lord over all other devils, blade devils acting as enforcers and bodyguards, & chain devils that torture the souls of those who enter. Nede is the 2nd. circle of hell also called the "Valley Of Hell '' is an endless forest realm full of infernal flora and fauna lorded over by the meadow devils who make various alchemical substances with the plants unique to only hell. The 3rd. circle of hell Umbryon is a black & shadowy hellscape wreathed in black mist gaining it's traits from Sorrow Heart and controlled by the shade devils turning into black mist and causing mental damage. The 4th. circle of hell Hydron is an endless plane of water gaining it's traits from Hydrus and being home to infernal aquatic fauna like Hydro Devils & hell hydras.   The 5th. circle of hell Osteon is the origin of the bone tieflings & bone devils, being a cold wasteland with bone meal soil & skeletal mountains. Corydon the 6th. circle of hell is a fetid, corrosive swamp home to vile devils that torture mortals with their corrosive acid. Conflagryn the 7th. circle of hell is a flaming & molten wasteland where hellblaze tieflings come from, home to devils that use fire to incinerate those who get caught in the realm. Glasyon the 8th. circle of hell is a frozen hellscape where frost tieflings come from & the souls of those deemed to pathetic go. The 9th. circle of hell Tartarus is a supermax prison for the worst of devil kind and others unable to be controlled by the crown devils, due to Tartarus's proximity to the tenth circle this realm is used to "rehabilitate" devils and corrupt them once more. The 10th. circle of hell Endos is connected to Hakainion being home to the dread devils, the ones who rival the crown devils in might, this circle is sealed away from the rest of the devils.

Hell has many phenomena occurring due to the gods' interference. Hell Quakes are bouts of Aries wrath causing the circles to partially collapse sending things from other circles to end up on other circles as well as killing many devils in their own realm hoping to harm the tenth circle enough to break the curse of madness. Hell Geysers sends forth the corruptive energy of the tenth circle to the other circles and outside hell every 10,000 years.

Hell is host to a variety of flora and fauna depending on the specific circle of hell. The 5th. circle of hell osteon has very little flora but many skeletal fauna known for their electric manipulation. The 2nd. circle of hell Nede has an abundance of various flora and fauna & the first circle of hell is known for having the Cerberus.

Hell has an abundance of various resources depending on the circle. The 10th. circle has an abundance of voidstone, the 8th. circle has stygian steel, the 3rd. circle has a shadow mist.

Hell was made by Aries during her time in stasis birthing the realm, it's circles, & denizens from her subconscious and slumber. The realm remained in Aries command for thousands of years the devil's only leaving their realm to oversee the cosmos for worthy followers of Aries however once Salem arrived in the realm she caused "The Maddening" after defeating Ares in combat causing massive damage to hell and once she placed the "Malevolence Gem" in the tenth circle her devils as well as all of hell became corrupted. The circles became vile and horrid; the devils became manipulative and corrupt beings who exploit the mortals for their own gain. Aries vows to gain control over hell and bring her children back to her flame.

Mortals rarely venture into hell although templars of the Crimson Church & Scarlett Church venture to gain back some of Ares's children. Demons from the nether try to enter hell to slay devils in their war but none have made it past the tenth circle. Celestials & other angels from various churches venture into hell for the same purpose of demons to end as many as possible although ever since many fallen celestials rarely go to hell.
