Pureblood Oni

Pureblood Oni are one of the two groups of oni made from the "Great Conflagration" when the unconscious will of the sleeping war goddess intermingled the essence of humans & devils to make these people, the first generation spawning from the crimson glimmer of the god that forged them.

Pureblood Hex Magic

Hex Magic is the unique infernal magic of devils and when the pureblood oni were born that magic and its vastness was present in the oni. This made the purebloods very powerful for mortal races; their magic even dwarfed the magic of elves. They were able to make various strongholds for themselves to live in and prosper looking to be isolated from other races. This magic and their unique method of creation made them believe that they were above their vileblood brethren driving a divide between the oni people. Despite the power of their magic as generations went by their magic became weaker and weaker as their infernal genetics became more diluted. Now the descendants of the purebloods have a minor fraction of the innate magic they used to wield. Purebloods & Vilebloods
The Purebloods have had a strained relationship with the Vilebloods ever since they met. Despite both being oni the power and divine creation of the purebloods made them believe themselves superior to the naturally half breed vilebloods and decided to shun them and cast them out. This would bring hate between them and has caused pain, violence, & death and despite centuries going by after the violence of the dark ages both sides are hesitant to lend a hand to each other.

Pureblood Onis

Crown Oni: Born from humans and crown devils crown oni typically have red scaly skin, & horns on their heads. Crown Oni used to have immense magical hex magic being able to dominate the minds of others but eventually these infernal genes dwindled reducing their innate magic to flame bolts and suggestions.
Blood Oni: Also called the vicious oni are born from humans and blood devils. Blood Oni are known to have red scaly skin, sharp spike protrusions from their arms, head, and back. Blood Oni used to have a mighty hex trait, being able to grow stronger the more blood they consume although this made it more vicious and violent now very few of them possess this trait and it is forever shunned by the remaining ones.
Winged Oni: Born from humans and the winged devils that act as hell's wardens, the winged oni used to soar into the sky and through their old hex magic could move at faster speed and increase their sight. The winged oni now are only capable of flight.
Siren Oni: Born from humans and succubi & incubi the siren oni were excellent at manipulation through words, suggestions, & illusions. They were one of the most beautiful & hated oni due to their propensity for manipulation and trickery but now their innate magic is dwindled down to small suggestions and charms.
Hellflame Oni: Born from humans and the devils of eternal fire hellflame oni have bright red skin, horns on their heads, and long tails. Their original hex magic gave them immense pyromancy making them able to cover their bodies in scorching flames, eject jets of flames from their hands, and burn cities to the ground. Now their innate magic is reduced to minor pyromancy.
