Gods

Demi-Gods have a mortal form mirroring them in life although once they ascend their form can change drastically to mirror their portfolio although once there above Demi-God their true form can no longer remain in the mortal realm requiring a realm to inhabit.

Gods have many abilities that place them at the pinnacle of all races.

Sensory

  Their sensory reveals all in range and a god of higher rank can inhibit the sensory of lower ranked gods.  

Immortality

  A Demi-God doesn't age & is immune to diseases. Gods of higher rank can only be killed in their own realm or by a god of higher rank.  

Ressurection

  Gods can bring back the dead although few use this ability unless a case is made for their ressurection. Demi-Gods must be in contact with someone's remains to bring them back regardless of their state while gods of higher rank can ressurect without the remains.  

Bestowal & Spells

  Gods above Demi-God can bestow magical power and blessings to their followers. Gods can innately cast any spell that mirrors their portfolio without any components.  

Teleportation

  Gods can easily teleport from place to place with no restrictions to the location or realm.  

Creation

  Gods have the power to create things from nothing. Lesser Gods can't do this but know the location of the materials needed, Intermediate Gods can only make duplicates of existing objects and when they make 100lbs. of objects they can't make anything else for 1 week. Greater Gods can make anything with no restrictions aside from any artifacts or magical power it makes can't conflict with their portfolio.  

Omnilingual & Telepathy

  Gods can understand any language written or spoken as well as being able to speak telepathically to anyone in their thoughts.  

Immunity

  Gods are immune to many things poisons, wards, mind-reading, life-force absorption & disintegration.  

Doom Desire

  Gods can destroy anything and anyone in their thoughts. Demi-Gods can't accomplish this while Lesser Gods can only make scenarios that can cause death while gods of greater rank can instantly kill anyone in their thoughts.  

Shapeshifting

  The gods are able to alter their form in many ways. A Demi-God can become anything that matches their portfolio, a Lesser God can become anything regardless of it's match, Intermediate Gods can become larger things like mountains and rivers, while Greater Gods can become planatery in size.

Gods can reproduce in a multitude of ways mortals can rise to godhood through the absorption of divine essence. Gods in mortal form can procreate with mortals birthing offspring with dormant or active divine power being classified as fallen gods, this can also happen if a god reincarnates into a mortal form although this makes a new mortal capable of weilding their power. Gods of the Over God type can make other gods from their own divinity this will weaken them needing time to recover. Gods can separate their psyche to unleash part of themselves upon the cosmos.

Gods have varying ranks & stages ascending when they gain enough followers to feed on. Demi-Gods need up to 1,000 followers to ascend to Lesser Gods who need 10,000 followers to ascend to Intermediate Gods who need 100,000 followers to ascend to Greater God who need 1,000,000 followers to ascend to Elder God who need 100,000,000 followers to become Over Gods the absolute pinnacle of godhood.

Each god has their own portfolio which is certain Emotions, concepts, or things the God controls. They usually match the Gods personality but a God's portfolio can be taken by another upon winning a Divine Duel. However the portfolio must match the victor in order to gain it. If not the portfolio goes to the next closest higher rank God. There cannot be two or more higher ranked gods of a Domain doesn't count for Demi-Gods. Things like being ressurected, personality shifts, & ascending or descending can change a portfolio. The portfolio can drastically change the power of the God.

Gods require worship as a food source without it they will starve to death.

When mortals bearing divine genes reach physical maturity they will begin to manifest divine power although if they are unaware of their true origin and believes themselves to be mortal it will cause a deadly imbalance that can kill the young divine.

Gods have what's called divine sensory which grows in power as they grow in rank. Their divine sensory occurs all around them, their followers, & their artifacts even uttering the name of the god would activate their sensory being aware of what's going on around the one that said their name. There is no way to hide once someone or something is in its sensory range.   Demi-Gods have a range of 1 mile, Lesser Gods have a range of 10 miles, Intermediate Gods have a range of 100 miles, & Greater Gods have a range of the entire realm. When the name of the god is said they can use their sensory for a limited amount of time around the one who said it, Demi-Gods have a duration of 1 hour, Lesser Gods have a duration of 1 day, Intermediate Gods have a duration of 1 month, & Greater Gods have a duration for 1 year.

Mortals

  Mortals of all types are a source of energy for gods keeping them alive through worship in return the god offers blessings and answering prayers.

The Zodiac Pantheon

  The coalition of the 12 fragments of Zelgius. These gods have been working with mortals for nearly a million years forming the most powerful Clergies in the cosmos.  

The Swarm Pantheon

  The 3 Swarm Gods as well as their offspring who have become ascendant through the law of the blade. They lead the Swarm race for eons on their campaign of carnage and destruction until they where killed during the Black Garden War.  

The Circle Of Seasons

  The first seasonal sages made by Gaia and worked in secret on Divonis. Their immense magical power eventually drew attention to Eden in the Old War causing large destruction to the sacred island and it's denizens. Their power now goes from holder to holder giving new people magic power.  

The Ambyrnion Dynasty

  A group of mortals who rose to godhood through the Genesis Spark and ruled the Age Of Light for 500,000 years. Their power was immense and their subjects all respected their light and solar power.

Gods deliberately take other forms when communicating with mortals, with their followers they become something their Clergy can easily recognize as to not melt their followers minds. Gods remain in their true form to commune with their kin.

Gods have a culture of supremacy ever since they where born or risen although most try to use their power for the betterment of all while others seek control and domination.

Gods often call their followers child or other terms that imply needing guidance or control. Gods will often used other entities to their own ends depending on their portfolio like Angels and Demons.

Gods find it ugly to forcibly manipulate worship and veneration of mortals. They hate the idea of taking away the agency and growth of mortals leading them to not solve every single problem directly. The gods don't care for constant ressurection only doing it as reward or favor but they'd prefer to avoid all together.

Gaia, Goddess Of Life & Creation

  Gaia was one of the first gods to exist alongside her brother Khaois the two made the cosmos but when the two clashed it sparked a cycle of war and chaos that forever engulfed the cosmos. From her blood came many types of life as well as Ether, from her passion came the stars and heat, from her gaze a holy light that burns destruction, & from her heart came arcane magic. She made the first Sages before falling into a slumber.  

Khaois, God Of Death & Destruction

  The brother of Gaia who's role is destruction to ensure balance in cosmos. He seeing his sister's work as weak but bearing potential made the law of the blade to test life against life to forge a perfect cosmos it's final form. He is willing to use anything and anyone to achieve his goals. From his blood came the Souless, from his tears came soul stones, from his breath plauge and affliction.  

Zelgius, God Of Order

  The son of Gaia and twin brother of Salem tasked with order in the cosmos. He was the one who made the Seraphim race and worked to fulfill his mother's wish even destroying others in misguided loyalty and piety. He was bested in battle by his sister Salem and became the 12 Zodiac Gods who imprisoned her.  

Salem, Goddess Of Chaos

  The daughter of Gaia and twin sister of Zelgius tasked with chaos in the cosmos. She made the Eidolons to uphold chaos and grow into a powerful force despite their weakness they where born able to control the manevolent force called the Souless. She was beloved as a goddess of freedom to her people but suffered a terrible fate by her family, being painted as a manevolent and cruel diety to all of the cosmos.  

Mephilies, God Of Fear

  The son of Salem and the aspect of fear to Khaois through his influence came a neverending whirlwind of death and destruction all brought about by fear. He beguiled other mortals to do his bidding and bring about the final form of the cosmos. He was finally defeated through imprisonment by a band of mortals and the reincarnation of the aunt he murdered.  

Solaris, The God Of Passion

  Solaris is the Passion of Gaia a fragment of her psyche her energy, vigor, ferocity all without the rest of her to keep him contained. Solaris was a confident god who laid waste to his enemies leaving the battlefield covered in bright orange starfire. He rarely showed restraint and has eliminated large amounts of mortals who got on his bad side. He was the only thing that could keep Mephilies at bay trying to dispose of him and reunite with Gaia. From his blood came Mephilies and through his will came his reincarnation Lyon.  

Silica, Queen Of Spiders

  Once an elf who was under the rule of Saisisium once she saw him as weak and fearful she stole his power ascending to godhood and twisting his people. Any elf who was part of his kingdom was forcibly turned into the "superior" dark elves and became the Silican Drow the cosmos remembers with fear and hate. She forged a society based on cruelty, brutality, and fear all to ensure that her people would never be threatened again.  

Riveria, The Ocean Queen

  A mortal who rose to godhood gaining the allegiance of the Sahaugin & other Sea Elves. She was known as a cruel god who went on her quest to avenge her lover who was exiled by Posiden with the rest of the blood elemites in Oceanus. Riveria as an evil water goddess has made many waves and whirlpools to destroy shipping vessels and punish her former people.  

Puff Olgrim, The Skyfather

  One of the Olgrims and rose to power during the Olgrim Civil War, gaining aspects of knowledge and war. He was a powerful Demi-God who was difficult to counter and beat only brought down when he flew too close to the sun.  

Ramiel Ambyrnion, Lord Of Sunlight

  A Human that rose to godhood once he discovered the Genesis Spark and built his Age Of Light which stood for 500,000 years. He and his family have been poisoning the cosmos for 400,000 years keeping the Genesis Spark alive to prolong their age of prosperity and power ending with divine intervention.  

Sellfur Olgrim, The Garden King

  One of the Olgrims who rose to power during the Olgrim Civil War in Gale unlike his brother Puff he was beloved by everyone he came across including the Zodiac Pantheon. With their blessings he made the legendary superweapon called "The Will Of The 12" and with an ancient relic he mingled the essence of the 12 to remake Zelgius. His efforts lead to the creation of Gardenia after he freed the Living Wind Woods from it's necrotic past. Sellfur is fondly remembered in the minds of the gods.  

Astrea Olgrim, The Sword Queen

  The daughter of Sellfur and the reincarnation of Gaia, Goddess Of Life & Creation. She was nothing like her father except for her sense of justice and need to protect others. She awakened her power from her previous connection to Salem gaining her own unique power through Salem's surge of power. She and her party worked to imprison Mephilies and save the cosmos from his wrath.  

Lyon Olgrim, The Destroyer God

  The reincarnation of Gaia's Passion Solaris growing up in the Age Of Light until ending it and going to the Age Of Zodia becoming one of the key figures in Mephilies's downfall. He gained the title of Destroyer God from Solaris's influence razing areas to the ground with Starfire. He despite this destructive instinct wanted to aid the world and Gardenia and has made many strides to contain his impulse and had been a benevolent king of Gardenia.  

Sai Amikiir, King Of The Spiders

  Once the God Of Elves in Spinaria after the Primal War but he lost his life and power to his adopted daughter Silica. He was reincarnated years later and during the plot to imprison Mephilies he reclaimed his power from Silica and worked to undo her actions. He made a corporation that aids all of Zodia through his healing medicine.

It's believed that gods are the absolute pinnacle and benevolent beings who offer protection for prayer. Some believe gods are people who rose to that status. Some believe that the gods work only to serve themselves and that they are the reason the world is cruel. Some speak of a goddess to control all god as a force of good.

Celestials: Celestials come in many forms and find purpose in servitude to gods. Fiends: For the most part fiends are unsightly abominations that the gods want gone but some gods use them in the same way as Celestials.
