This metal remains hidden from the seraphim and kept as a secret weapon if war ever broke out & when it did oblivion ore was a powerful tool against them, canceling their innate divine magic and making their bodies crumble and become crippled. After the Great Calamity Oblivion Ore became lost to time with only a handful of people finding and using the metal.
