Variant Heritages

A character of any race/ethnicity/ancestry may be apply one of the following variants.  
Players, please consult with your GM if you wish to take a non-standard variant sub-race/heritage. Your GM will help clarify PC statistics. This article is only to provide lore on the variant heritages in the Zivaria setting.

Aasimar/Seraphim

Often considered "godsblessed" or "angelborne". Often inherently adept with divine magic.

Dhamphir

Mortal offspring of a vampire and a mortal.

Genasi/Jinnborn

Heavily influenced by primal magic before birth, usually aligned with one of the primary elements, but rarely may exhibit equal tendencies for two or more elements. Often referred to as "firesoul", "watersoul", or "windsoul", etc.   Not limited to earth, fire, water, or air; additional variants may include, but are not limited to: ash, ice, light (brightsoul), magma, dust, steam, shadow (dusksoul) and storm (stormsoul).

Tiefling/Nephilim

Often considered "devilborne".
