The Harmonic Collective
The political-religious faction that heads the anti-arcane movement across Zivaria.
The Harmonic Collective's tenets are founded in texts written in the Fifth Age, documenting the agreement between mortals and gods - where mortals ceded their power to the gods. They firmly believe that magic in the hands of mortals is a gift from the gods, and should only be gained through respectful, reverent worship, and used only according to the tenets of the god bestowing the magic.
They see the use of arcane and occult magic, and creation of technology reliant on such magicks, as subverting that agreement made, and considered sacriligeous - often referred to as "trying to create your own power outside of the gods' domains," etc. To this end, the Collective frequently sponsors mundane technological initiatives and advances in an attempt to dominate the market away from arcane technological competitors.
The Harmonic Collective minimizes and brushes off primal magic as "superstition and hedge witchery."
