Myths & Legends

Legend tells of small creatures that grant travelers either boons or banes. Rumor has it that way back in the First Age, a nomadic tribe of hill giants were tricked by a tribe of halflings into leveling the lands flat, before they were subsequently tricked into leaving. This might be one reason why halflings are most populous in this area, and giantkin have not been seen in ages.
