Coldiron

Cold Iron (variously called cold steel, wrought iron, magnetic iron and so on) is the traditional bane of The Fair Folk, ghosts, witches, and other supernatural creatures. Precisely what constitutes cold iron varies from source to source, such as being meteoric, forged without heat, forged by hand, ferromagnetic, possessing trace amounts of iridium, literally being cold, and so on.
