Kobold Racial Feats

True Dragon's Bulwark:   Prerequisites: Kobold Race, 'Dragon Carapace' Alternate Racial Trait   Effects: You gain Spell Resistance equal to 7 + Hit Die. This Spell Resistance increases by 1 at 4th level and every 4 levels afterwards, and by 1 for each 'Dragon' Racial Feat you possess besides this one.   Their taking on a potent aspect of Dragonkind, these Kobolds are blessed with the highly magically-resistent scales of their Draconic Ancestors - able to resist spells and other spell-like abilities almost unconsciously.

Seething Dragonblood:   Prerequisites: Kobold Race, 'Sparkleblood' Alternate Racial Trait   Effects: You may cast your chosen 2nd level Spell-Like Ability gained via 'Sparkleblood' 3/day instead of 1/day, and gain a 3rd level spell of your choice from the Sorcerer/Wizard list as a 1/day Spell-Like Ability. You treat your Caster Level for all Spell-Like Abilities gained via this feat or the 'Sparkleblood' Alternate Racial trait as 1 higher for each 'Dragon' Racial Feat you possess, including this one.   Special: You may take this feat multiple times, increasing your 1/day SLA to a 3/day and gaining a SLA of the next highest spell level selected from the Sorcerer/Wizard Spell List as a 1/day SLA each time.   Their blood so potently magical as to literally glow blue even after exposure to air, these Kobolds possess a great number of potent magical abilites that afford them a great deal of magical power - often giving them positions of power within their tribe.

Blood of a True Dragon:   Prerequisites: Kobold, 'Wyrmbellows' Alternate Racial Trait, Character level 3rd   Effects: Your blood and other fluids are infused with your Draconic ancestry energy type - Every time you are damaged by a piercing or slashing weapon, the attacking creature takes energy damage which starts at 1d4 and increases by one step at 5 and 10HD, as well as for every 'Dragon' feat you possess besides this one. This damage is doubled on a critical hit. Using a reach weapon does not endanger the attacker in this way.   Special: You count as a creature of both the Humanoid(Reptilian) and the Dragon type for all effects related to race.   To those rare Kobold who find themselves blessed with the breath weapon of their True Draconic parents, rarer yet is the Kobold who finds their own blood subsumed by liquid reminders of their heritage, each cut and slash upon their body giving birth to a violent explosion of energy which harms nearby enemies.

The Forgotten Canticles:   Prerequisites: Kobold Race, 'Soulkin of Zurgenvanthias' Alternate Racial Trait, Character level 5th   Effects: Whenever you activate the 'Soulkin of Zurgenvanthias' Alternate Racial Trait, you can choose from the following options in addition to the options available at base.
  • The Fifth Canticle: The next time you would fall below 0HP by any means short of a death effect, you instead remain at 1HP. If you still possess the "Our hearts forever hers" racial trait, you trigger that trait's effects for returning 1HP.
  •
  • The Sixth Canticle: Whenever you or another creature perishes either by Hit Point damage or by Death Effect, you can capture their soul as per Trap the Soul. An unwilling creature is entitled to a Will Save Based off your Intelligence Modifier to avoid being so entrapped(Or your Constitution Modifier if you took the 'Dragonforged' Alternate Racial Trait). These Gems can be used in place of Material Components as if the creature holding or possessing them had the Soul-Powered Magic feat.

"...Where I shall falter for fear of death, he shall never take his final breath;   Where my life shall ebb and scales shall rot, he shall ensure my soul does not...
— The Fifth and Sixth Canticles of the Mantra of Zurgenvanthias

Undying Scion of the Tenfold Obliterator:   Prerequisites: Kobold Race, 'The Forgotten Canticles' Racial Feat, Character level 13th   Effects: Each time you perish via any means besides old age, your soul automatically breaks all binding contracts associated with it unless the originator of such effects successfully beats a DC 35 Caster Level Check to break your ties to Zurgenvanthias. Assuming these ties are broken, you are automatically reborn as per True Resurrection twenty four hours later in a place of your choosing within 20 miles of the place you perished(Which you must have visited at least once before you perished to be reborn at). However, each time you are reborn in this way, you attract the attention of Takamagahara, Eternal Judge of the Tenfold Gates, who dispatches a Primal Dragon, Powerful Elemental, or other mighty servant or psychopomp of the Spirit Kings to destroy you and recapture your soul - the creature dispatched will be of a CR equal to or slightly higher than your HD, and will ambush you during the moment of or shortly after your rebirth. If this creature and any allies it brings are defeated, you are reborn as normal - if you perish to them, however, you are permanently and forever destroyed.   Special: If you possess the 'True Dragon's Heart' Racial Feat, this feat also applies whenever you die of old age - in which case you are reborn in your body as it was in its physical prime.
"...His path alone I cannot walk, for all the Gods above shall balk.   He must not stir nor be awoken, or all our souls may well be broken.   By sneak and creak shall I vow, to live a life of which the King Below would be most proud.   Glory to Zurgenvanthias the Eternal! Glory to the Tenfold Obliterator!"   Glory to the Conqueror of the Crystal Fountain! Glory to the King under the Mountain!
— The Final Canticles of the Mantra of Zurgenvanthias

Kobold Confidence:   Prerequisites: Kobold Race, Intelligence or Wisdom or Charisma 13+   Effects: You use your Charisma, Intelligence, or Wisdom(Which must be at or above 13 as per the Prerequisites) in place of Constitution to determine your bonus to Fortitude saves and your maximum negative hit points before death. Once this choice has been made, it can’t be changed.   Special: Once you reach Character level 7th, this feat also adjusts your HP to use the chosen ability score instead of CON.   Your cunning, confidence, or faith in the Draconic power in your blood allows you to overcome your physical frailty.

Scaled Disciple:   Prerequisites: Ability to spontaneously cast divine spells, Kobold   Effects: You gain a +1 bonus to your caster level when casting spells included in the Scalykind domain or subdomains. Your spontaneous divine spellcasting qualifies in place of arcane casting for the dragon disciple prestige class, and you may increase spellcasting in your spontaneous divine class as you progress in dragon disciple levels. Add the bonus spells gained from the blood of dragons ability to those you can cast as divine spells.   Your Draconic heritage manifests as divine power.

Dragon Senses:   Prerequisites: Kobold Race, Character level 3rd   Effects: You gain an extra 20ft of darkvision and 10ft of blindsense, plus an additional 20ft and 10ft respectively for each 'Dragon' racial feat you possess besides this one. You can identify the exact type, age category, or species of creatures of the Dragon Type at a glance, can identify any hidden properties or curses in magic items or artifacts by spending a full-round action while in contact with the item, and can at a glance assess a creature within 30ft's net worth(Total sum value of their assets both liquid, illiquid, and invested) or the value of an item you can see within 30ft in your local area's currency both market and collector, if they are different. Additionally, by concentrating for one minute, you can sense the direction and distance to the largest collection of physical wealth within one mile of you, and can scry on such a concentration as per the spell 1/day as a swift action.   Their eyes, ears, and senses sharpening and honing in to an almost preternatural degree, these Kobolds often become fantastic scouts for their tribes - their eyes turning bright and draconic as proof of their powerful lineage.

Snapping Jaws:   Prerequisites: Kobold race, Character level 5th   Effects: Whenever you make a bite attack as part of a full attack and miss the target, you may make another attack on the same target with the same Bite for free with a -2 penalty to the attack roll.   Seen by some Kobold Tribes as a sign that their bloodline has begun to drift away from their Draconic Ancestors to an unacceptable degree, these Kobolds take more after Crocodiles and Alligators than Dragons - with long, furiously strong jaws and lightning-quick reflexes that allow them to almost unconsciously lash out at a target they miss with a bite.

Greater Dragonscale:   Prerequisites: Kobold Race, Character Level 5th   Effects: Your elemental resistances from the 'Dragonhide' Racial Trait increase by 10 and the natural armor bonus increases by 2. Your total natural armor bonus now applies to your Touch AC.   Special: If you possess the 'Primal Dragonhide' Alternate Racial trait, you instead only gain immunity to the element of your heritage - this immunity halves damage taken from the corresponding True Element.   Special: If you possess the 'Exotic Heritage' Alternate Racial trait, your natural armor bonus from the 'Exotic Heritage' Alternate Racial Trait increases by 2. You gain a total amount of Fortification equal to 5% per point of Natural Armor bonus you possess - this Fortification only functions at half efficacy if you possess armor with a Fortification Special Quality(Light, Moderate, or Heavy).   Their scales growing more powerful and more durable as they age, many Kobolds find their scales growing and returning to their true draconic power the older they grow.

Specialized Hunter:   Prerequisites: Kobold, Character Level 5th   Effects: All traps you create as well as all weapons you wield(Including one type of natural attacks) gain the Bane Weapon Special Quality against one type or subtype of your choice.   Whether they take on a specialized role in the defense of their massive worm-cities or they wander out on their own to make a life of their own, many Kobolds hone their hunting and trapmaking skills on a certain breed of living targets and learn to become more effective both when attacking them and when building traps to kill them.

Draconic Conversion Engine:   Prerequisites: Kobold Race, At least one other 'Dragon' Racial Feat, Character level 7th   Effects: For every 100gp you consume(And destroy), you heal one hit point. For every 1,000gp you consume, you are the target of a Lesser Restoration Effect. For every 10,000GP you consume, you are targeted by a Restoration or a Cleanse effect. This feat can be used on magic items(Which destroys them) or certain other items one might find in a Dragon's Hoard(Such as Ores, Gemstones, Art Pieces, or so on - GM Discretion), but such items only count their GP value as 1/2 of normal for this feat's purposes.   Special: At 13th Level, you can consume Magic Items and treat their GP value as their full value for the purposes of this feat.   An exceptionally odd and comical mutation amongst certain more powerful Kobolds which occurs almost exclusively amongst subterannean kobold tribes, this odd ability allows Kobolds to consume gold and other valuables to heal their own bodies - though none can even guess how such a function works biologically.

True Dragon's Heart:   Prerequisites: Kobold Race, Character Level 11th   Effects: You gain immunity to all sleep and paralysis effects, double your lifespan, and take no physical ability score penalties due to age, and gain 20 Bonus Hit Points plus an additional 20 per 'Dragon' feat you possess besides this one. Your death threshold increases by 5, plus an additional 5 for every 'Dragon' feat you possess besides this one. Finally, as an immediate action number of times per day equal to 1 + the number of Dragon Feats you possess besides this one, you can alter an elemental effect that originates within or targets a square or creature within 30ft of you and transform its damage type into the type associated with your Dragonscale Trait(Or appropriate alternate).   Special: If you possess at least one other 'Dragon' Racial Feat besides this one, you gain the ability to cast Form of the Dragon I or Form of the Exotic Dragon I once per day as a Spell-Like Ability - once you choose between the two spells, the choice cannot be changed.   Special: At 13th and 15th Level, so long as you have at least two and three other 'Dragon' Feats respectively, your 'Form of-' Spell-Like Ability gained from this feat upgrades to its next level.   Perhaps the strongest and rarest of all the Kobold Draconic Evolutions, the True Dragon's Heart is as close as many Kobolds come to their True Draconic Ancestry - growing more durable across the board and gaining the ability to alter nearby elemental effects into the element of their ancestry, these Kobolds are rare but widely revered whenever they appear.
