Bonesmolder Tribe
The flaming orcs who mastered the mysterious blackwater
Racial Traits
Burning Bones: Whenever a creature hits a Bonesmolder Orc with a natural attack or an unarmed strike, that creature takes 1d4 points of fire damage. This damage increases by one die per 4HD they possess(To a maximum of 6d4 at 20th level). A creature in a grapple with them takes this damage with +2 damage per die when the grappled is initiated and each time they maintain the grapple. Masters of the Blackwater: Thanks to their uniquely fiery bodies producing natural chemicals which coat their skin, Bonesmolder Orcs are naturally inoculated against flame and gain Fire Resistance 10, which applies normally to Blackwater. Bonesmolder Orcs may, once a day in a process that requires ten full minutes of concentration from either themselves or another creature with Fire Resistance, harvest the oily secretions on their skin and in their blood and bones to produce either 2 Alchemist Fire Vials or 1 vial of Blackwater. A Blackwater Vial functions as a vial of Alchemist's Fire, except that it deals 2d6 damage at base, burns for 3 rounds after the initial impact, requires a DC 20 reflex save to extinguish, and is not extinguished by immersion in water, and half of its damage ignores all resistances to Fire, Godfire, and Hellfire. Thanatomania: Bonesmolder Orcs may treat themselves as using the ferocity ability(And thus may activate any abilities or traits normally usable only when using ferocity and/or at 0HP or below) when they drop below 20% of their maximum HP. In addition, they gain Deathless Initiate as a bonus feat at 1st level. Fiery Fury: While a Bonesmolder Orc is at 0HP or below and using the ferocity ability, they automatically deal 2d6 fire damage at the beginning of each of their turns to all hostile creatures and flammable objects within 15ft of them. Given prolonged exposure, Flammable Objects may catch fire(GM Discretion). At 6HD, 12HD, and 18HD, this damage increases by one step. While this trait is active, all fire damage they deal is treated as Blackwater damage - half of which ignores all Fire, Godfire, and Hellfire resistances and immunities.
Alternate Racial Traits
Flamesoul: Racial Ability Scores become (+2 Strength, +2 Charisma). Modifies Racial Ability Scores. Born with a fiery passion in their hearts altogether different than many other orcs, these Flamesoul Orcs are charismatic and passionate, creatures of burning desire, and often rise to leadership positions in their tribe.
Blackwater Charred: Gain DR 5/Magic and Bludgeoning and the "Smoke Vision" ability of Red Dragons. You may produce Tindertwigs by spending a swift action harvesting shards of your charred bone(With no limit on amount harvested), and can by spending the same amount of time with the same conditions and restrictions as the "Masters of the Blackwater" racial trait, harvest either 2 Smoke Pellets(Or any variation thereof), 1 Smokestick, or 1 Incendiary Catalyst. Replaces Masters of the Blackwater. Their bodies charred and burnt by the mysterious Blackwater their tribe is notorious for using, these Bonesmolder Orcs are bespeckled with black and burned to the bone, their skin melted off in places to reveal smoking bones that burn eternal.
Blackwater Infusion: All natural and manufactured weapons you wield gain the flaming property for as long as you wield them. Half of the damage dealt by this trait ignores Fire, Godfire, and Hellfire resistance as if it were Blackwater. Replaces Burning Bones. Their bones burning so hot that their natural attacks and the weapons they wield glow white-hot, these Bonesmolder Orcs literally ignite the weapons they wield with the heat of their own bodies.
Enenra Corruption: You no longer need to breathe. Additionally, as a swift action, you can step into an adjacent cloud of smoke, smog, soot, ash, or similar vision-obscuring cloud(GM Discretion) and emerge in any square in or adjacent to its area of effect as if using Dimension Door as a Supernatural Ability. Unlike with Dimension Door, the range limit of this ability is limited only by the contiguous size of the cloud you step into - this movement is instantaneous. Replaces Thanatomania. Visited by the legendary Enenra as children and corrupted by its horrible, choking power, these Bonesmolder Orcs are smoky and translucent, as if ready to evaporate at a moment's notice, their skin cracked, pebbly, and broken like stone.
Feed the Demon: While you are at 0HP or below and using the ferocity ability, you may as an immediate action accept a blackwater charge when targeted by any damaging attack to negate it entirely - these charges represent how much of your essence you have offered up to the Blackwater, and go away at a rate of one per day(And cannot be removed via any other means). However, if you ever accumulate a number of charges greater than your HD, you instantly perish, your body is incinerated, and you transform into a Blackwater Elemental or other Blackwater-themed monster. If you perish in this manner, you are exceptionally difficult to bring back and can only be returned to life via True Resurrection or by the direct Divine Intervention of the accursed master of the Blackwater themselves. At GM's discretion, not using this trait during a situation where you normally could while you already possess Blackwater Counters may force a Will Save upon you to resist being forced to use this trait to negate an attack. Replaces Fiery Fury. No tribe of orcs is as ferocious while in the depths of ferocity as the Bonesmolder Orcs - and among them, none are more fearsome than those who have mastered the Blackwater that bubbles within their bones, controlling it almost unconsciously while on the brink of death to ward themselves from damage by offering up more and more of their bodies to its unholy power.
Racial Feats
Volcano Skin: Prerequisites: Bonesmolder Orc, Character level 7th Effects: Gain immunity to fire. Special: If you replaced the 'Masters of the Blackwater' racial trait, you regain that trait instead. Their bodies hardening to flame even more than normal, these rare Bonesmolder Orcs become completely immune to fire's touch upon their bodies and can walk through lava as easily as breathing.
Magma Vomit: Prerequisites: Bonesmolder Orc, Character level 5th Effects: As a standard action once per combat, you can launch a ball of magma to fill a square plus one additional square within 30ft with magma, though not enough to cause total submersion. This magma lasts for 1d4 + 1 rounds. Special: At 11th level, you can instead select one square only to cause total immersion magma damage to all who enter it instead, which lasts for 1d4 + 1 rounds as normal. Their lungs swelling with burning magma, these Bonesmolder Orcs are incredibly feared for their ability to discharge flaming piles of lava onto the battlefield.
Enhanced Burning Infusion: Prerequisites: Bonesmolder orc, 'Burning Infusion' Alternate Racial Trait, Character level 7th Effects: The flaming enchantment from 'Burning Infusion' becomes a Flaming Burst enchantment instead. Your weapon attacks ignore hardness when attacking objects as if they were made of adamantine. Their bones burning so hot they glow white-hot, these Bonesmolder Orcs infuse the weapons they wield with such terrifying heat that they can melt through objects like butter through the legendary blackwater, exuded through their pores to coat their weapons and claws and fangs in roiling flame.
