Biosynthetic creatures once ruled over parts of the Galaxy with a cool and collected Continuum of corralled Stars one would say they were one of the first races barring the Vestige of course. They achieve many Feats of technological wonderment and some scholars believe that some of heirlooms from the Vestige are actually their technology though it is hard to say as they claim most of their technology would have been corrupted. They were driven into isolation and eventually completely driven underground hiding from what is now known as the malignancy that would corrupt their coding and turn them against their own kind, including their god, Mother Brain- Ophanim  was corrupted by the malignancy keeping them from reproducing.
