Welcome to a continent that was onced walked by Gods and is now the home of a myriad of mortal races. It is the year 1718 CE, 118 years after the StormBreak Peace Accords. The peace of the last century has frayed and grown tenuous. The last threads of it are held together by the continual efforts of The Eld Collective, but has been seemingly abandoned by the other kingdoms. In the South, the continued occupation of the Tears of Zarara by Rashgardia is more and more often marked by the repression and systematic persecution of the Oka’Wai. Rumors and tales of a resistance, as well as aid from certain benefactors, have circulated beyond the islands. North from there, in the lands bordering the A’Ruk Mountain Range, there are increasing reports of raids by goblins, orcs, and other “dark creatures”. Within Rashgardia, fears are being stoked by the theocracy and bands of rogue peasant militias have interpreted the rhetoric as a call to arms. From Here we go further north and east, to the Na’Tirean Udrach and the home of the Daonish people. In-fighting has grown worse and worse over the last 100 years of peace. Here the strong prevail and the strong, most often, wish to prove themselves. The Chief of Chief is new and shrewd, many speculate that he will not be able to stop the Daonish bloodlust without the clans consuming themselves in war, or uniting against the other kingdoms. East, towards Thormund’s Teeth, we find the Al’Badu. A people who are very happy with the status quo and, as they are not arms dealers primarily, do not wish for war in the land and are often outspoken about this idea at official diplomatic summits. The Al’Badu continue to flourish and grow wealthy, attracting slippery fingers and green eyes to their lands. Within Thormund’s Teeth, The great Dwarf Clans have elected a new King. He is rumored to be keen of mind, a vicious fighter, and a ruthless politician. Not much else is known outside of the clans. Past the craggy peaks of Thormund’s Teeth we find the Eld Collective nestled into the living forest. A paradise for those who seek peace, justice, and freedom. Like the Al’Badu, they have also been outspoken about deteriorating relations between the kingdoms. This is the land of Vana. A powder keg ready to explode. WIll you be the one to remove the fuse, light it, or watch from a safe distance as the cacophony commences? We will soon see….
