Punt

A punt is a small flat-bottomed boat that is propelled by pushing with a 15-foot pole.

Punts are used to travel in the swamps of the High Bayou.

Propulsion

Method: Poled by one person, only in shallow water.

Speed: 30 ft/round, 3 mi/hr (normal travel pace)

Sluggish: A punt is not very maneuverable.

  • When starting from a stop, it can only move at half speed in the first round.
  • Stopping from full speed takes a move at half speed.
  • While moving, it can only turn 45 degrees per square of movement.
  • When stopped, the pilot can use their movement to spin the punt around.

Weapons & Armament

Are you kidding? I mean, the pole is like a quarterstaff I guess.
