Haruka Okozuki
Haruka's family held the Celestial Ember Shrine, nestled at the molten ash foothills outside Cinderfall. Generations of Okozuki diviners tended their sacred hearth, using volcanic ash in divination rites and forging ofuda (protective talismans) from obsidian shards.
Now known as “The Veiled Oracle,” Haruka dwells in the charred remains of the Celestial Ember Shrine.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
By age seven, Haruka could weave spirit-threads into paper charms and summon minor fey.
She discovered Kael Su'tera latent Tsuinsouru nature and Kiyomi’s soul‐bond when they were all children playing among the shrine’s steam-vented grottos.
Believing her divine insight made her superior, young Haruka taunted Kael with harsh but inert curses and mocked his soulless gaze, turning the shrine courtyard into her stage of ridicule.
Kiyomi, driven past anger, unleashed fire beneath the shrine’s obsidian torii. Flames licked Haruka's face and scalp, leaving her blind with cataracts and her skin etched in spiral cicatrices. The blast shattered the shrine’s main hearth, scattering the contents among smouldering ruins.
