Aethsplitter
This weapon was created by the archmage Elrin, who sought to imbue a part of his vast intelligence into an inanimate object. Elrin performed a complex ritual, transferring a fragment of his consciousness into the axe, giving it awareness and the ability to communicate.
The axe despises being used to chop wood.
