Zaragait

Zaragait is an unstable world wracked with fountains of magical energy and titanic beasts, a result of an ancient war between the gods. This volatile environment has been utilized by the inhabitants to create massive moving structures which carry everything from cities to fortresses upon their backs.   When war breaks out all manner of massive beasts, structures, and machines lumber forth with armies and citadels carried on top. In battle every one of their slow moving punches, kicks, and grapples carries a landing party.   In this world warriors absorb residual elemental energies from one another unlocking greater potential in each other. This can manifest in many ways including tactics, magic, and even psychological temperament.   --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------   This is fiction I've been working on to correlate with a table top wargame in development. As such the primary focus is on war in general and a reflection of game mechanics in particular.
