Ospana (Oss-par-nah)
Structure
Ospana is ruled by a monarchy headed by the Fair Queen Estier Pomero. The Pomeros have ruled over Ospana for centuries and have brought great prosperity to the country.
The Queen has several consorts and advisors who have come and gone throughout the years. While there is an amount of power which comes with these positions, they are potentially tenuous positions to be in, as they are at the whims of the Queen and her family.
Culture
Ospanans are known for their enjoyment of opulence. They are a people who work hard and enjoy showing off the fruits of their labour in the forms of exotic silks, gilded houses and shining jewels. There is an element of keeping up with others, but they also indulge in each others prosperity. Their core belief is that their wealth can't be taken with them into the afterlife so they may as well spend it and enjoy it while they can.
Foreign Relations
Ospana enjoys good trade relations with the majority of countries in the Emerrane Pass, and across the Mynpawa Ocean. Their willingness to spend their hard-earned money makes them a popular stopping point for most trading vessels, and Cime is the centre for this.
Queen Pomero has an interesting relationship with Emperor Helm Roda of Artrouvia, and is more than willing to have audiences with him and his representatives.
