MAJOR Work in Progress
ROUND THREE LESSGO
Humans, dwarves, and elves all exist. The main versions of them are preeeety much just... different kinds of humans, probably. But there are different ones.
Fel'xan are kind of Zaikiri's version of demons? Kinda-sorta-not-really? I don't like making that comparison, but it's the best I've got.
Thriis are unashamedly Dragons.
Overall the intention is a mix of familiar, forign, and totally new.
Zaikiri's inhabitants are numerous and varied in such a way that you could divide them into categories a few different ways. This list does so by primary magic attunement
Words Chimera.
Griffons come in two forms: v small, and big enough to carry a person and some light stuff. Hippogriffs are larger, capable of carrying one person and things or two people and a very light load of other stuff. Griffons can be used for tasks where speed and agility are helpful, but don't make for as great long-distance travel or heavy load bearers. Hippogriffs have better strength and endurance but aren't as great at reaching the same airspeeds as Griffons, or ground speeds as some other creatures. However if you need something that can move on the ground and the air with a heavier load, hippogriffs are good.
Griffons can also be used for pest control, and there are probably places where they're used like Falcons are.
Kiverdeth are lil fox-bird-dragons. Very few of them have been domesticated.
Akaren resemble Griffons, but they match most hippogriffs in size. Other notable features are their antlers and the fact they have SHARP TEETH inside their beaks. They're also Fae, because of course they are, and are possibly sapient? At least sentient...
Undead possibly here? Or constructs. May merge those into one category though.
Wisps
Heralds/Messangers of Aspects (Reapers?)
Pheonix/Thunderbird (... would these count as a form of elemental?)
Driian > Dretar | Zin | ??
Wyrthii are a sub-set of Thriis. Ancient beyond counting, these Thriis are typically the first or last of their respective kinds. Their temperaments range from gentle and benevolent to hungering beasts that see other life as little more than food or entertainment.
Wyrthii are true Wryth-souled creatures, not strongly aligned to any one realm's magic.
Driian, on the other hand, are decently intelligent beasts, but beasts nonetheless. Despite typically being seen as 'lessers' by other Thriis, Driian have an uncanny cunning and problem-solving capacity that puts on display the effects of Thriis' ancestrial memories.
Driian aren't Wryth-Souled in the same way Wyrthii are. Rather, the Driian branch of Thriis can be found across all three realms, while still being considered within the same 'branch'. (On that same note, Thriis as a whole are considered Wryth-Souled.)
Humans
Dwarves
... Other things. (Griffs, Hipps, Kiverdeth. Pegasi, maybe? They EXIST, I just don't have them noted down anywhere.)

Fel'xan is the collective term for the dominant sapient species found throughout the realm. Each type of Fel'xan is adapted primarily to a specific element filling a region, but they are far from the only ones found there. Due to their prevalence across the realm of Chir'lak their language is considered the 'common' tongue for the area, with regional dialects scattered around. Fel'xanic
hellhounds/horses (Both're winged and can fly, hounds are often used for guarding, hunting, or conflict. The horses might not have hooves.)
This, this is them. The Teva'ri were once humans, though prolonged exposure to dark magic within Chir'lak (And more than likely some interbreeding with various Fel'xan species) over countless generations have turned the population into something... Not quite human anymore.
Most Teva'ri practice Blood or Soul arts, including true Necromancy, but one can see any dark magic among their number. Shadow Walkers are not a wholy uncommon sight among them, either, some of these Teva'ri even use this ability to sell their services in the other realms.
Teva'ri artisans and enchanters are some of the most skilled at creating things with Blood Tempering, Soul-Tempering, or Soul-Binding, due to the synergy with their common magic.
