The arrival of the dwarves in Yyrda.

While the first mountainholds of the dwarves—and the first settlements to exist in Yyrda since the fall of the Architects—are established within the first generation, it is not until the elven Empire of Faedrun is fully formed that contact is made with the Children of Stone. This leads to millennia of controversy between the two races regarding which is the elder, an antagonism that has characterized their long history of uneasy alliance until the current era.

During this time, the famed dwarven citadels are build beneath the Great Table and the Mountains of Sky, and the dwarven pantheons are also established.

The dwarves are said by some to have been the first to uncover the remnants of the Architects' civilization, although this may have been more often a curse than a blessing for the Children of Stone.
