General Haddal's Desertion

General Haddal of the Armies of Falinor takes a a battalion on an unsanctioned strike deep into the Reach Unsung. After contact is severed, he and his forces are presumed dead for the next five years.

In the first year of the new era, the heroes of Last Rest make contact with a faction of Falinorian deserters, which leads them eventually to their fortress citadel of Honorstrand on the islands of the Talon, and what remains of the great general and his forces.
