Tabaxi | Catfolk

Tabaxi, also known as Catfolk, are native to the Morgani Lowlands and are common both among the secretive forest tribes in its uncharted jungles as well as among the cosmopolitan populace of its great cities.
While typically uncommon beyond their ancestral homeland, one notable exception is the large diaspora population of Tabaxi that have taken up a maritime life in the Gulf of Yurgalia–of all the Yurgalian Pirate Kings of legend, the Tabaxi corsairs have rarely been rivaled by any other people on the high seas save the occasional Orc captain; in the New Era, the majority of the Grand Admirals of Yurgalia in the Falinorian navy are Tabaxi.
More often than not, a Tabaxi encountered outside of the Morgani Lowlands and Yurgalian Sea will speak with a distinct accent that many associate with the Tabaxi as a people and species; however, this is a misunderstanding, as the accent is that of Old Yurgalia, common among the seafaring peoples of that region, Tabaxi or otherwise.
