Friar Poole
Backstory
After having seen his fill of death fighting in the battles against the orc clans, Poole Roughsoil settled down as a tavernkeeper in his Dwarfhold. One day, the owners of a rival tavern came in looking to start some trouble. In the ensuing brawl, his family was killed and his tavern destroyed. In his grief, he turned to faith, becoming a novitiate in the temple of Berronar Truesilver. Since then, he has dedicated his life to the service of peace and unity. His temple, having heard of the growing number of dwarven refugees in the Eastmarch, has assigned him the task of travelling there and assisting the dwarven diaspora and the other refugees in any way he can. Additionally, a recently rediscovered ancient temple archive mentions long-lost dwarven clans in the east, past the Dragonsbane Mountains. Perhaps, in his travels, Friar Poole can investigate these rumors.
