Vast Void
The Vast Void is the space between everything, a kind of universal nowhere of warped space and pure darkness, where one can easily get lost without the right mindset and abilities. The void has been around for as long as anyone can remember. It stretches accross the near-infinite expanse that is the universe, compressing space in such a way that one can travel billions of light-years by walking a few inches. This is used as a means of transport for many powerful beings, most of whom prefer to avoid each other. Gods and monsters walk the void, travelling from one world to another with ease. Surprisingly, the vast Void bends to the will of any inside of it, helping them get exactly where they wish to go. The hard part is getting in and out. The Vast Void can be accessed by magical means, occasionally combined with technology, but it is extremely rare that someone gains the power to do so. Even some of the mightiest of beings yet lack that particular ability, sometimes restricting them to a single world or system. There are also those who can travel the immenses distances between planets by other means, such as moving at great speed, warping space around themslves, or simply surviving in dead space and waiting to drift upon someplace they may land.
Geography
The vast void is dark and hollow, with no ligh or noise other than that brought into it. Staying there long enough could drive most people insane. In the Void, there is no gravity, and creatures and objects inside are suspended in some kind of limbo, with no need to eat, drink or breath and no means to rust, rot or age. The void is a mirror of space in the real world, and people entering from a certain point will always come out at the same point in the void. that point may, however not be in the same place in relation to other areas of interest in the void due to its nature of being possible to warp. Warped space in the Void will return to its place when left alone by whoever warped it.
Ecosystem
Most of the Void is empty at most times. In ssome places few and far between however, there are creatures who actually live there. These creatures were often born of the worlds, but have adapted to survive in the Void. Some use net-like appendages to scrape through the Void and collect anything left behind, using the warping of space to their advantage in order to cover light-years of area with one sweep.
Ecosystem Cycles
There are no truly reliable cycles, since those in the void do not need to eat, drink or sleep. Their minds are often being driven in a rapid spiral toward insanity by the utter lack of light, sound, patterns and reliable spacetime.
Fauna & Flora
Endbringers and scapeshifters cross the void regularly. Some others use it as a hiding space, and still others, such as Abyssozoa, live or hibernate there mostly in peace.
