Equal parts healer, gossip, and stubborn fixture of the docks, she claims every bottle in her shop has “a tide in it somewhere.” Whether you leave with a cure, a curse, or just a story depends entirely on her mood — and the moon.

Born far inland in a nameless village she claims “no longer exists on any honest map,” Calfae Brillish washed up in Pyzel Harbour twenty years ago with nothing but a lacquered chest of dried herbs and a half-burnt letter she never shows anyone. She apprenticed under a dockside apothecary until his sudden disappearance (he “took a walk into the fog and forgot to come back”), then inherited his clientele and debts. Over time she shed the debts, expanded the clientele, and cultivated a reputation for uncanny luck — ships whose captains drank her tonics always seemed to find wind in their favor, even when no one else in the harbour would cast off. Her blend of charm, stubbornness, and quiet defiance made her a fixture in Little Sister’s Market, where her shop Potion by the Ocean has remained ever since.
