Yashira Korvin's Journal

This is the journal of Yashira Korvin, leader of The Shining Hand. It details her quests early in The Shining Hand, and her progression through the ranks. about 2 weeks after she became the leader of the organisation, she met Shedinn Myastan, whom she convinced to join The Shining Hand. As he progressed through the ranks of the organisation, their relationship grew, and she began to open up about the death of her little sister as a child to a mimic. On a successful DC15 Intelligence (investigation) check, the players can tell that Shedinn Myastan was increasingly radicalizing Yashira, causing her to take more and more drastic actions against shapechangers, and actively hunting them, instead of simply defending towns that have been attacked by them, or hunting down only evil shapechangers, as she used to. With a successful DC10 roll (part of the previous roll), the characters learn of someone called "Strongheart", a famous adventurer and leader of The Shining Hand before Yashira. This is uncovered by seperating two pages that appear to be stuck together over time. It is clear from the pages that, unlike Yashira, he was not focused on shapechangers, but instead simply wanted to protect all innocents from any source of corruption or evil. It mentioned that he vanished while on a holy quest to determine the source of an insidious corruption plaguing the land years ago.   In fact, he was actually tracking The Watcher, head of the Nal'Zarahim, and fell prey to the creature. He now serves as one of its leutenants, which the characters will find out if they even truly track down The Watcher.
