Tome of Many Facts

Wonderous Item, Very Rare, Requires attunement by a spellcaster   This tome has the title "Tome of Many Facts" printed on the cover. It appears to be an old notebook with many dogeared pages and several bookmarks places in it's pages.   While attuned to this item, you can use it as a spellbook for spells and can use the tome as a spellcasting focus while you hold it. This tome has a maximum of 4 charges. When you make an Arcana, History, Nature or Religion check to recall a fact about an object, event or creature, you can expend 1-4 charges to open the book at a random page gain a bonus to the skill check equal to the number of charges expended. You can do this after you roll for the skill check, but before you know the result of the roll. When you cast a spell of 1st level or higher using this tome as the spellcasting focus, it siphons some of the magic passing through it and regains 1 charge.
