Hailstone

The Hailstone is an ancient artifact of immense power. Once activated, it takes rarely known rituals or divine intervention to either deactivate it or even destroy it.   If left in a region for too long, it will begin to freeze the land around it, encasing everything in an eternal winter, resulting in thick, nearly impenetrable ice and deep snow covering everything and sometimes even freezing entire towns and regions in place within a week.     Alternatively, a creature can attune to the Hailstone, resulting in none of the effects influencing the others, but the attuned creature suffers the effects of Extreme Cold, even while wearing cold weather clothing or similar garb. This will result in the PC . While resistance or immunity to cold will prevent this effect from occurring, the creature will suffer vulnerability to cold damage while attuned to this item, but also deal an additional 1d4-1 cold damage when rolling damage for a successful attack.
