Island Itashi / The Sorceress' Isolation
The Island of Itashi came to be when a powerful sorceress used her magic to raise a volcanic mountain out of the center or lake Dunrei, to serve as her very own fortress of solitude. After its first few eruptions it had created an island around itself which the sorceress blessed with beautiful flora and fauna. She had carved out entire cave systems and created new species of flora and fauna for her island by using her magic. But soon after she began her research into empowering and perfecting her spells and spellcasting, she mysteriously disappeared leaving behind various magical relics and journals of her findings. In recent months, the neighboring villages have claimed to have seen flashing, colorful, bright lights emanating from within and around the dormant volcano. Rumor has it that the spirit of The sorceress has returned to Itashi to continue her research into her magical practices.
